Children's Ministry

Bethesda is convinced that investing in tomorrow's generation is of vital importance!  Energy, time, resources, and the greatest affection is always used in ministering to children.  On top of the weekly Sunday School meetings during the morning service (Kindergarden - 8th grade),  KID'S CHURCH meets every 2 weeks in the evening where kids can engage in powerful praise and worship and then learn important lessons about God and having a relationship with him.  The much-anticipated VBS in the summer and Harvest Fest in the fall also add to the excitement of being able to experience God in creative, fun-filled ways.  Stay tuned for details concerning future events!

If you missed out on last year's Harvest Fest, make sure to mark it on your calendar for this year!  The kids have a blast learning about Jesus in unique, Harvest-themed ways.  Music, pumpkins, hay rides, and the tons of candy will be sure to keep them coming back for more!

Sunday School Minisry Mission Statement

The Sunday School has the supreme goal of glorifying God through all its activities.
"Do your work willingly, as though you were serving the Lord himself, and not just your earthly master.  In fact, the Lord Christ is the one you are really serving, and you know that he will reward you." (Colossians 3:23-24)

The Sunday School contributes to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up, specifically to the spiritual education of children and adolescents of our church.
"..so that his people will learn to serve ad his body would grow strong." (Ephesians 4:12)

The Sunday School is in part partners with parents and does not replace them, but cooperates with them in the process.
